A FREE Clinic
The Viola Startzman Free Clinic is a not-for-profit business that is registered with the IRS as a 501c(3) organization. (Federal Tax Identification Number: 34-1758151) In addition, the VSFC does not receive funding from taxes, Medicaid, Medicare, or any other government entity besides Community Development Block Grant money. We rely on monetary and in-kind donations from individuals, businesses, churches, and service groups; donations from the Free Clinic Network; grant funding from the United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties and the Orrville Area United Way; grant money from foundations; and revenue from special events. The enormous contribution made by the volunteer team, along with partnerships with other local healthcare facilities, allows us to provide $4.00 worth of service for every $1.00 donated.
